Owasco (Salix viminalis x S. miyabeana) is a fast growing shrub willow with multiple, small diameter, vertical stems that can be harvested every 3 to 4 years. This cultivar is suitable for mechanical planting, harvesting, and post-harvest processing. Owasco also displays good disease resistance.
