Treatment Plan
Also know as Acidic Soil Sickness, Sauerschaden is used to describe leaf symptoms on vines growing in highly acidic soils (under pH 5.5) associated with deficiencies of calcium, magnesium, and phosphorous, and excessive potassium, aluminum, and manganese. Soil testing is used to determine soil pH, and petiole tests can be used to confirm nutrient levels in the vines.
