Cabernet Volos (Cabernet Sauvignon x 20-3) is one in a line up of mildew resistant VCR varieties that reduce the spray requirements while producing quality fruit and wine. With a similar flavor profile to its parent- Cabernet Sauvignon, this herbaceous, thick-skinned, blue-black variety produces wine with intense pigmentation. Vines prove to be quite adaptable in the field due to their high base bud fertility and semi-upright growth habit.
