Soreli (Tocai Friulano x 20-3) joins mildew resistant variety, Fleurtai of the VCR varieties with excellent resistance to both Downy and Powdery mildew. While Soreli can hold its own in a bottle, Soreli and Fleurtai have been proven to be a blending pair as well, with Soreli adding tropical notes, pineapple and passion fruit. Soreli's golden fruit clusters and uniform berry size as well as it's hardiness to negative 11-degree Fahrenheit have left an impression to say the least.

Vertical shoot positioned (VSP) training is used primarily for upright-growing cultivators, especially those that benefit from improved exposure to sunlight that minimizes summer fruit rots and/or increases potential wine quality. As compared with Top Wire Cordon (TWC) training, VSP is much more labor-intensive due to the need for summer shoot positioning, leaf removal, and summer (top) hedging.
